LFW AW15: Shrimps

Another amazingly fluffy collection this season by Shrimps, I fell in love with the first collection from Spring and the London based designer Hannah Weiland once again created another impressive range. With a playful fun aesthetic as always and a strong emphasise on colour.

This season embraced the 70's, massive across so many shows this A/W. Grass green, burnt orange and mustard yellow looking fab amongst the plaid prints and a perfect pop of bold red lipstick.
Statement furry coats with cute quirky illustrations and metallic fabrics shining like a disco ball, adding a touch of party glamour. This detail continued through to the trims and over the floor and backdrops.

High neck knits made an appearance which I love and those shoes!! Made in collaboration with Sophia Webster...fur lined perfection. I'm also obsessed with the fluffy clutches, what more could you need to be a dancing disco diva?!

LFW AW15: Markus Lupfer

This was one of my favourite presentations for London Fashion Week AW15. With a quirky secret garden theme and a woodland colour palette surrounded by hanging flowers, carrots and cute little white rabbits giving an almost Alice in Wonderland vibe. Models featured fresh natural looking make up and details including flower sunglasses, animal ear hats and a mix of fun, wildlife inspired prints...with florals, deers, squirrels and even strawberry jacquards adding a playful feel to the collection.

I love the sport luxe details with the bomber jackets, stripe rib collars and exposed zips. Styling the outfits with trainers and even these featured floral detailing also including a bit of sparkle which continued over to the metallic jacquard pops.

I'm also excited to see high neck knitwear sticking around for another season as I'm obsessed, looking great layered under so many pieces from the collection...my favorite high neck knit combination has to be peeking out from under the bomber jackets and fab jacquard dresses.

LFW AW15: J.JS Lee

Opening the season for London Fashion Week J.JS Lee the Central Saint Martins trained designer took references from her favourite family photos and nostalgic items of clothing, yet staying within her usual minimalistic signature. I was instantly drawn to the fresh neutral colour palette and love the balance of masculine and feminine details. The relaxed oversized shapes with a play on proportion and the paper bag trousers cinched in at the waist adding feminine touches.

The masculine details of the chunky shoes, black pixie hair and tailored structure blended in with the delicate feminine heels, flowing dresses and soft quilts. Pastel splashes came in the form of Mongolian fur and hints of bright pink could also be seen in exposed zip details. The masculine/feminine juxtaposition was also apparent in the fabric mixing and layering throughout, making a fascinating collection. I'm sure we will see a few of these details filtering onto the high-street and I hope it's the Mongolian fur and the return of the paper bag trousers!

Stripe It Up

Here's what I put together for my birthday outfit last week for a lovely day of shopping and cocktails, what more could a girl ask for....more clothes of course!!

I came across this chunky knitted cropped jumper new in on Missguided, practical yet an easy to wear simple piece which I teamed with these striped cigarette trousers also from Missguided. You can't escape stripes at the moment and I love the sporty vibe. I would suggest downsizing in these as I found my usual size to be a little big on me, the reason why I had to add the belt. A little vintage beaut which worked well alongside yet another Missguided pair of shoes to add to my collection...these patent mock crocs are the perfect chunky move on to the classic Chelsea boot.

Also can I just add how fab is this gorgeous little collection of bracelets all from Black Tied. I came across this brand on Instagram a few months back and have been obsessed with them ever since. I love the personalised ones which you can add your name or favourite quote...so cute! Even better if you use my code 'BEYOND15' you can get yourselves 15% off too. Now lets go shop. :)

Leopard Love

As you all can probably tell by now I'm obsessed with co-ords, in-fact I don't know how I survived without them! I'm getting quite the collection but they are so effortless to style and can easily be worn from day to night. I love this knitted leopard print set from Topshop with the jersey skater skirt and matching sweat, perfect for the winter months which I layered up with a simple white ribbed funnel neck from Topshop...this is turning out to be a total Topshop outfit but they can do no wrong in my eyes...major fan alert!

Wrapped up with a trusty pair of tights that can just about be seen and my favourite over the knee boots from New Look which seem to be making an appearance in every post at the moment. They're just so perfect and literally one of the most comfy pairs of shoes I own...told you I really do live in them!!

By the way...The Topshop co-ord and New Look boots are now in the sale so grab them quick! :)

Pastel Pop

I love adding a pop of colour to brighten up an outfit, especially if it includes pastels...can't get enough of the baby blue vibes with this skirt and faux fur scarf combo. Since Christmas I have been obsessed with a-line skirts as there are so many fab options around, I couldn't resist this shiny pvc version from Primark which was a bargain!! I've actually tried a pvc pencil skirt in the past but I just found it waaay to restricting as the fabric has absolutely no give so this version was much better for me.

I styled this together with a simple thin knit roll neck also from Primark, I literally wear this all the time as it's perfect for simplifying an outfit when adding colour/prints to other pieces.

Teamed with this faux fur scarf from ASOS which brings together the pastels shades perfectly! It's also great for winter days when you're in need of a little more warmth...I think this happens to me most days! To make this fluffy beaut even better it's now only £14.50 in the sale!

These New Look over the knee boots are my favourites, they are soooo comfy and just seem to go with everything I want to wear at the moment, great with skirts too so your legs don't freeze!!

Missguided Wishlist

Seen as the spring collections are starting to make an appearance I thought now would be the perfect time to share some of the fab pieces to hit Missguided recently. I'm a massive fan of Missguided anyway but I especially love the new in section at the moment. The girly pastel shades contrasting with the edgy checks and stripes are perfect for this transitional time of year...and of course a girl can never own enough shoes and bags too....right?? So I have created a wishlist featuring a few of my favourite items that I would love to get my hands on!! Clickable links on the pictures above to make it even easier to add those beauts to your shopping bag! Keep an eye on my Instagram page too and I'm sure you will see a few Missguided additions to my wardrobe arriving soon, especially with LFW just around the corner! :)
