Fashion: All The Prints

I'm literally obsessed with this premium Missguided bomber, the floral jacquard makes such a bold statement with pops of colour and metallic detailing; both key trends set to stick around for spring too. The denim midi dress has fast become a wardrobe staple, I love the cute pinafore style and the classic retro blue shade working perfectly for that smart/casual look and ideal for layering.

How beaut is this printed clutch by Rianna Phillips!! Forever swooning over monochrome accessories and the suede detailing adds that extra luxe feel. Teamed against the floral bomber too...what's not to love about a print clash?!

Fashion: London Layers

Lightweight trenches have been my go to throw on piece so far this winter, they are perfect for all weather as so easy to layer up and great for adding a little colour to an outfit. This Primark beaut is one of my faves, I love the soft pink shade...I also sized up as you can't beat an oversized look tied up at the waist.

My high neck obsession started last winter and has continued this season, perfect once again for layering...I will feel lost when the summer comes! This Topshop monochrome body is also a great piece for a day to night look.

Onto the shoes which I have been after for sooooo long...sold out on Zara forever but FINALLY back in stock...I went for the suede version but they now have a new season leather look pair.

Shades Of Spring

First of all apologies for the lack of posts recently, if you follow me on Instagram (@ktmillar) you'll know I've had a few weeks away filled with sun, sea and cocktails in Mexico...pure paradise! I've taken a few outfit snaps whilst I was away so keep your eyes peeled for my holiday looks coming soon!!

Now seen as I was thrown back into reality with the lovely Manchester temperature I thought I would share a more spring friendly outfit before posting my holiday styling. I can't believe how cold it still is considering it's almost June, even with the occasional glimpse of sunshine....or maybe it's just me being a weather wimp as usual.

The majority of this outfit is from Missguided...always one of the first on my list when online shopping. I love these cute satin finish dusky pink high-waisted trousers teamed with a basic white rib crop and a fluffy faux fur grey jacket, creating the perfect spring shades.

The patent T-bars are a cute addition worn with lace trim Topshop socks which I seem to own every colour and style going...yes I have a sock addiction. Bringing a metallic vibe to the look with silver jewellery including this statement necklace from Miss Pap and this amazing ASOS rucksack which goes with so many outfits... definitely a spring essential.

Set Me Up

A knitted two-piece has to be my favourite transitional outfit, a really easy throw on look and great for day to night styling. This grey marl set is from Miss Pap, always great for keeping up with the trends and so affordable...only £21.98!! Another love of mine is statement necklaces and as Spring has now appeared it seems the bigger the better and perfect for adding a little glamour. This silver beaut is again by Miss Pap. I also often wear this layered upon a plain tee, tucked into a high waisted a-line skirt...another of my go-to outfits.

Adding a monochrome vibe with this Missguided check waterfall jacket. I actually got the matching trousers at the same time planning to wear as a set but couldn't resist pairing it along this co-ord first. These boots were an Ebay bargain I came across a while back giving a sports luxe feel and who's not to love a statement clutch...still topping the trends for SS15.

Style In Focus

So as mentioned in my previous post I recently was involved in a collaboration with the beaut accessories brand Rianna Phillips for a 'Style in Focus' post to see how I would put together two outfits featuring 'The Affinity Portfolio Clutch' which is a stunning digitally printed bag new from 'The Transcendent' Fall 2014-15 Collection (see link below) Here's what I choose for the second outfit...

I'm always a big fan of slogan tee's and River Island has some of the best at the moment. This grey 90's vibe Supermodels one is fab and really versatile, I love pieces like this that can be easily dressed up or down for any occasion. The pom pom I added to the Rianna Phillips clutch is also from River, they have so much fluffy goodness in store right now that I'm in heaven!! I've also got my eye on a cute satchel which has a fluffy panel at the front...dream! No doubt you will be seeing it on my Instagram page very soon.

The midi skirt is from Missguided which I feel is a great addition to any wardrobe over the winter, it comes in a few other shades too. I would defo recommend sizing down for this as I feel the fit is a little bigger than usual. The fedora hat is also Missguided, I've spotted a few other fab hats online recently and seen as how this one sadly got blown away during the shoot (sob sob) I think I will have to treat myself to another one...or two.

The boots also featured in my last post are from Miss Pap and look great teamed up with a midi too and they are just so comfy!! Miss Pap is currently one of my fave online stores and I couldn't resist this suede tassel jacket perfect for adding abit of detail to outfits that could otherwise be quite simple, I also love the waterfall feature at the front. This jacket also comes in a faux leather version but I was drawn to the texture of the suede for something a little different.

Big thanks to Rianna Phillips for the collab on these last few posts, hopefully it's something that we can do again sometime soon as it's great to have something to base an outfit around, especially when it's as perfect as this clutch.

Collab O'Clock

I've been very excited to share this shoot with you all, this actually took place a few weeks ago now around Media City but I've only just managed to sort through all the pics as so many were taken! This features a collaboration with the amazing accessories designer Rianna Phillips. The lovely people at Rianna Phillips HQ were interested to see how I would style up one of the newest bags to hit the online store...'The Affinity Portfolio Clutch' which is one of my favourites from 'The Transcendent Fall 2014-15 Collection'. The weather was surprisingly kind to us the weekend of the shoot, although it was so windy...I lost my hat to the weather. Bad times.

I choose to style this alongside this fab crop tee from Off Dutee, If you haven't checked out this online store it's a must as they have the most amazing collection of printed tees and jumpers. The faux leather jacket is from Topshop last winter but there's a similar one in-store at the moment which I have linked below. The check print trousers are beauts from Miss Pap, the boots are too, I'm In love with Miss Pap right now. They have so many on trend pieces and at such a good price, a great excuse for filling up the shopping bag!

Now to the accessories, the fedora is a wardrobe staple from Missguided, most of my jewellery is either from Topshop or H&M and the fluffy pom pom bag charm is River Island...Yes I know, more fluff. They actually do this in 4 different colours and I couldn't decide so had to get 2! Oops.

Also how cute is this cat watch?! It's from this fab boutique called Thrift Store that I came across online at ASOS Marketplace. Not forgetting the most perfect clutch by Rianna Phillips, a digital print dream and handmade in the UK may I add....which makes it even more worthwhile to have cheeky purchase.

Such a fab day with lots of laughs, I also styled this bag together with another outfit which I will be adding to the blog very soon...keep your eyes peeled!!
