Winter Wonderland

Since the Christmas period is over and the turkey has been and gone I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share a couple more outfits from some of the festive plans I've had this month as I have a little time off work now before starting back in January. This was an outfit I wore for a trip to London which of course involved going to Winter Wonderland...it's getting to be a little tradition now which I love as it's a great excuse for a day out to catch up with friends.

I thought I best wrap up warm seen as most of the day would be spent outside so I decided on this pink fluffy coat from Primark which has also made an appearance in one of my previous posts. It's quickly become one of my staples this winter, I've worn it so much! The dusty pink shade was perfect against the monochrome Missguided treggings. I'm in love with check prints at the moment, they're all over the highstreet...I feel I might be getting an addiction but find them perfect for styling with block colour to add a little more detail.

I layered up with a roll neck jumper also from Primark and a cream/gold stripe scarf, I think this was from H&M but I've had it years now, it's one of my faves....don't think I could ever get rid of it. The necklaces are also Primark and the cute cat bag is from an online boutique called Sugar + Style.

I've only had these Missguided mock croc boots a few weeks now but I've worn them loads! They were also featured in my last post but seen as they're so comfy I thought they would be ideal for walking around London all day as I have to admit most of my shoes kill my feet.

I will be posting a couple more dressy outfits soon from parties recently, along with New Year's Eve which is just around the corner, so keep an eye out for lots more fur feathers and co-ords..... :)

Feeling Festive

So as the festive celebrations continue and Christmas day is only hours away now I thought it would be the perfect chance to share my excitement with you all, along with a festive outfit as this was what I put together for National Christmas Jumper Day a few weeks ago.

I didn't want to wear anything too cheesy although I have to admit I was tempted by all the festive jumpers this year!! I was after something a little more subtle that I could hopefully get away with wearing after Christmas too...more of a winter vibe than in your face festive. I of course fell in love with this fairisle jumper from Missguided with the cute pastel pattern which seemed to be a great match teamed with this baby pink Primark skater skirt. I just wasn't brave enough for bare legs but thought these American Apparel grey leggings look cute and also stopped me from freezing...yes I'm one of those people that's cold all the time :(

I love a good jumper/shirt combo, it's always one of my go to 'safe' outfits, or when I'm in a rush and need to throw something on that I know works together. This vintage shirt was one that I picked up a while back in London is one of my all time faves, I especially love the pearl detail to the collar. I can't actually remember where I got this from but I'm guessing Beyond Retro or Rokit as I can't keep away.

The bag is a little gem I spotted in Primark, it's from the limited edition range and even comes with a dust bag...check out Primark getting all fancy. I love the gold frame which I think makes it's great for an evening look too. I don't think any of my outfits would be complete without something fluffy right now so cue the Topshop fur pumps and pom pom bag charm...HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! :)

Animal Antics

So here's the outfit I eventually decided on for a trip to Manchester Christmas Markets the other weekend after a last minute change of plan...the first one selected is featured in my previous post. I came to the conclusion that white jeans probably weren't my best ever idea when I would be getting festive with plenty of mulled wine!!

I love this time of year when you can get wrapped up and cosy especially since there is so many amazing fluffy coats around at the moment! This pastel beaut is from Boohoo and I just couldn't resist making a purchase. I teamed it together with these cute animal print leggings from Topshop and kept the top simple with a Missguided roll neck.

I don't think I've taken these patent Missguided boots off my feet since I got them a couple of weeks ago, they are mega comfy and I find them great for adding a more edgy look to an outfit, especially when I'm rolling out the pastels and fluff.

The bag is from Monki which I got a while ago now but I thought the texture along with the fluffy pom pom was perfect with the animal vibe of the outfit.

Winter Warmer

Seen as winter is now well under way I thought it was about time I started to wear something a little warmer!! Especially to give me the chance to roll out some of my beaut fluffy coats I have a slight addiction with at the moment, there's just soooo many amazing fluffy numbers around right now. If your following me on Instagram (@ktmillar) you will have noticed the pink and fluffy takeover recently...I'm obsessed!! This outfit I had planned for a trip to the Christmas Markets in Manchester last weekend but I changed my mind last minute to another outfit which I will post about next. Although I think especially for this time of year when there's lots going on It's always good to have a few outfits ready to throw on for any last minute plans!

This pink fluffy coat is one of my faves for this season, it's actually from Primark and was a bargain at around £25!! Although I know Boohoo and Missguided do similar versions if you are struggling to get your hands on this one (I've added the links) The roll neck jumper is also for Primark, I'm in love with these lightweight roll neck knits, they have become a wardrobe staple over the colder months and are great for layering! Primark also have black and white version in store now.

The skinny jeans are a recent purchase from ASOS, I've been after some white ripped jeans for a while and these are the perfect fit. You can't beat a pair of high waisted jeans, especially when they have abit of stretch too! I've been obsessed with cleated sole shoes since the summer and these boots make the perfect transition into winter, the colour looks fab with the fluffy coat, tied in nicely with the check Primark scarf too.

I've featured this Boohoo bag in quite a few posts now but it just goes with everything and looks so cute along with the River Island fluffy pom pom. I'll put up my other Christmas Market outfit soon so keep an eye out..there's a sneak peak already on my instagram!
