Mexico...Holiday Style Diary: 5

Here's the last outfit from my holiday collection so I'm well and truly back to reality which means it's time to plan my next trip so I can wear clothes like this again!!

I love all the girly features from the lace and ruffles to the cute bow headband...it's a very 'me' outfit. Of course there had to be a little pink thrown in too. These silky shorts from Missguided are perfection and also hit the underwear as outerwear trend giving an almost pajama look. So easy to style as they can easily work casual or dressed up.

This white cami kept to the feminine feel with the pretty ruffle detail, giving a standout silhouette seen a lot during the SS15 catwalks. Lanvin had a beaut ruffle dress with lightweight layering spot on for the summer so it's great to see this look filtering into the high-street for more affordable pieces.

Before I went away I was looking for some neutral sandals that I could throw on day to night and these River Island beauts did the job perfectly. Not to mention they are mega light so I could add them to my suitcase with no worries!!

Hope you've all enjoyed seeing a few of my holiday looks, would love to know which one is your favourite? :)

Mexico...Holiday Style Diary: 4

I just love holiday clothes and the endless possibilities without having to think will I be cold in this?!...which I'm constantly doing at home in Manchester.

This whole outfit was such a bargain as almost everything was from Primark!! Which shows you don't have to spend a fortune to get a cute summer look. I'm actually thinking of putting together a blogger-on-a-budget post to create a full outfit within a set cost...if this is something you would all like to see? There's no reason to have to spend hundreds to create an on trend look...Missguided is the perfect example of this.

I was drawn to the gorgeous print on this Primark skort, I love the mint green along with hints of the bright coral. Perfect match along with the essential holiday accessory...a tropical flower of course!

These Primark tops are one of my summer staples and I always stock up on then each summer in different shades. They have removable straps too which makes them even better. The lace kimono which I've styled up in a previous holiday post is Missguided but it's just so great to throw on in the evenings. I've tied the look together with gold accessories, how cute is this H&M clutch which was only £7.99!! They also have a pastel blue and bright yellow versions too...perfect for the summer!!

Mexico...Holiday Style Diary: 3

I still have a few more holiday outfits to post but got a little distracted by the Missguided launch at Selfridges recently...as you can probably tell by my Instagram snaps. Mexico seems so long ago now, yet it was only a few weeks!! Looking though all my photos makes me want to hop on a plane...holidays are so addictive aren't they!!

Just before I went away I came across this gorgeous neoprene floral printed a-line skirt from Missguided and instantly fell in love as I do with so many...I love the cute candy colours with playful bright pops. The fondant pink tone looked so perfect teamed with a simple kimono which I tucked into the skirt, giving a wrap-over blouse look. Missguided is also great for staple basics, This ribbed crop is always on my packing list as it's ideal for layering.

How on point are these River Island sliders, they were a last minute buy before I went away but so glad I did as they are mega comfy!! I literally live in them now and they always seem to add an edgy vibe to any outfit...great to wear along my ever-growing collection of gold necklaces!

Missguided X Selfridges Launch Party

I was very happy to hear Missguided was finally opening a concession in the UK, not only that but one that was right on my door step at Selfridges in The Trafford Centre...even better!! Although not for my bank balance. Of course I was straight to the launch party to check it out and be one of the first to see the capsule collection, I was not disappointed...

Heading down with the blogger/designer beaut Rianna Phillips for a fashion filled evening. Greeted upon arrival with pink prosecco, sweet treats and a tote bag full of goodies. You may have already seen a few snaps from the evening up on my Instagram/Twitter (links below) Check out the hashtag #MissguidedXSelfridges. Not to mention the fab DJ Cassyette playing some on point music, perfect for shopping and photobooth fun! It was also great to meet some of the lovely Missguided girls...thanks for such a great night!!

I was in co-ord heaven and ended up buying 3...oops. Along with a few other bits which I will get up on the blog soon. The prints were incredible, perfect for summer with a mixture of soft pastels and bold brights with such a tropical feel. Spotting floral/leaf prints, and even iridescent shells...total mermaid heaven. They also had a section with more of a tribal feel with bohemian paisley prints perfect for that festival look with fringing, suede and lace up detailing.

Take a look below at some of my favourite pieces from the collection...they aren't exclusive to the concession so do not fear if you don't live in Manchester they can also be found in the Selfridges section at Missguided online.

Mexico...Holiday Style Diary: 2

So as the days I've been back from holiday are growing and my tan is fading fast here's another outfit to share with you all from my time in Mexico. A look that I based around this beaut neoprene high waisted skirt from Missguided, I just couldn't resist the cactus print with it's eclectic kitsch feel and cute pastel shades. Bringing a little freshness to the outfit with a white kimono also from Missguided, I love the lace detailing! I literally lived in this on holiday, it's such a perfect throw on piece and the neutral colour makes it so versatile.

Worn with a roll neck sleeveless crop which worked out such a great match to the skirt with the mint green shade. Adding gold accessories with the simple bar sandals, braided waist belt and stacks of rings. Not to forget my trusty Boohoo foldover clutch...this bag is fit for any occasion!!
