Event: The Clothes Show

Last month I headed to The Clothes Show in  Birmingham, I haven't actually been for a few years but since the lovely Rianna had a stand in the ASOS section I though it would be the perfect excuse to pop along to say hello and show my support.

Although it had downsized since I last visited, there was still some great stands, including Never Fully Dressed, Amelia Jane London and NYX to name a few. The vintage section has always been one of my favourites and great for picking up a few one off bargains. The ASOS Marketplace area was perfect for picking up some individual pieces too; I just had to snap some of the digitally printed bags and fluffy accessories at Rianna Phillips stand..beaut as always!

Not forgetting the fashion theatre show which is always one of my fave parts of the day...showcasing some quirky, fun pieces.

Fashion: London Layers

Lightweight trenches have been my go to throw on piece so far this winter, they are perfect for all weather as so easy to layer up and great for adding a little colour to an outfit. This Primark beaut is one of my faves, I love the soft pink shade...I also sized up as you can't beat an oversized look tied up at the waist.

My high neck obsession started last winter and has continued this season, perfect once again for layering...I will feel lost when the summer comes! This Topshop monochrome body is also a great piece for a day to night look.

Onto the shoes which I have been after for sooooo long...sold out on Zara forever but FINALLY back in stock...I went for the suede version but they now have a new season leather look pair.

Restaurant Review: Bob Bob Ricard

There's nothing I love more than hopping on a train for the day to meet up with  besties, trying out some of the amazing restaurants London has to offer. Don't get me wrong, there's alway's new places popping up at home in Manchester but sometimes it's just nice to go further afield.

Bob Bob Ricard in Soho has been on my 'To Try' list for a while now and although it ended up quite a pricey meal it didn't disappoint. Perfect for a treat, special occasion or both in this case...catching up with Ange. The overall appearance was so glamorous, like something out of The Great Gatsby. Laced with gold and marble and the quirky English meets Russian menu was hard to resist. Not to forget the 'Press for Champagne' button featured on every table, the obligatory Instagram snap.

After ordering a cocktail to ponder through the menu Ange and I headed straight to the mains, opting for the 'Lobster Macaroni & Cheese' with swiss cheese and parmesan which was amazing!! If you're a seafood fan this will not disappoint...adding a side of fries, because as always I can never turn these bad boys down. Of course we had to press that button for champagne...pink naturally.
