Something About Stripes

I love Topshop for the easy to wear throw on pieces you can reply on season after season and this navy and grey thin striped jersey dress is one of them. The overlay feature and cut out detail adds something a little different from your standard jersey dress...it's also super comfy.

Teamed together with a faux fur gilet, and a black fedora...both from Topshop. Not to forget my trusty over the knee boots from New Look, I've have definitely got my moneys worth with these!! I've had this black Aldo bag for quite a while now but it's a great size and a timeless piece, The contrating texture and gold detailing is perfect.

Set Me Up

A knitted two-piece has to be my favourite transitional outfit, a really easy throw on look and great for day to night styling. This grey marl set is from Miss Pap, always great for keeping up with the trends and so affordable...only £21.98!! Another love of mine is statement necklaces and as Spring has now appeared it seems the bigger the better and perfect for adding a little glamour. This silver beaut is again by Miss Pap. I also often wear this layered upon a plain tee, tucked into a high waisted a-line skirt...another of my go-to outfits.

Adding a monochrome vibe with this Missguided check waterfall jacket. I actually got the matching trousers at the same time planning to wear as a set but couldn't resist pairing it along this co-ord first. These boots were an Ebay bargain I came across a while back giving a sports luxe feel and who's not to love a statement clutch...still topping the trends for SS15.

ASOS Wishlist

Since getting through the April edition ASOS magazine I have been lusting over some of the Spring pieces and constantly checking for when some of my fave 'coming soon' pieces will arrive online. Although I'm a pastel girl at heart I love the monochrome trend continuing over to spring, especially in the form of stripes!! Mixing chunky shoes with pastel pops, metallic accessories and prints of any kind but especially spots and stripes. Obsessing over the co-ord update which gives a more casual PJ vibe, even more so with the wide stripes and relaxed fit. I've also just come across a 20% discount in Look Magazine for ASOS own brand using the code 'LOOKAMAZING'...an ever better excuse to get shopping for Spring!!

Spot On

I love abit of layering over the colder months, it also gives the opportunity to rework and reinvent outfits before the Spring weather slowly starts to appear.

Spots and fluff...can't really go wrong with this. I fell in love as soon as I came across the co-ord in Primark, especially loving the knitted fabric giving a transitional twist. Layering with a funnel neck jersey rib from Topshop. The cream fluffy jacket is also Primark, it's a great add on piece to team with so many outfits, keeping snug but without sacrificing style.

How cute is the River Island bag?! A beaut Christmas present, it's the perfect size for carrying around all those essentials and the fabric mix with the fluffy detail tops it off.

Team Topshop

I only realised after putting this outfit together that's it's almost head to toe Topshop but there's been so many amazing pieces in store recently. Although saying that I've always been a massive fan...total team Topshop.

I love mixing printed pieces with simple basics, it's defo my go to daytime look at the moment. Sometimes I think the best outfits are created with just one statement piece and this leopard a-line mini is perfect adding a little texture and sparkle with the lurex detail. Styled alongside a monochrome Topshop graphic tee tucked in and layer up with this borg throw on cardigan...also Topshop.

My trusty over-the-knee New Look boots came out to play again...I live in these beauts!! The bag is from Aldo over a year ago now but I think it's quite a timeless style and fits soooo much in. I never travel light.

LFW AW15

Following on from my previous post reviewing my favourite designers for AW15 I went along to LFW for day 5 with the lovely accessories designer Rianna Phillips...check out all her amazing pieces at www.riannaphillips.com I worn you now....you will want the entire collection, it's a digital print heaven!!

Here's what I styled together for the day, as we had lots planned I wanted something comfy (especially the footwear) but still eye-catching. As soon as I saw this set from Missguided I knew I had to own it, I love the dusty pink colour contrasting against the sport luxe vibe with the black piping down the sides. The lightweight duster jacket was layered up with a basic rib turtle neck and worn alongside the matching tapered trousers which I rolled up a little...all Missguided.

The backpack continued the sporty feel with the perforated detail, bags seem to be stripped back this season with fresh clean cut simple designs...perfection.

I love any kind of hat really but a fedora is my true love, even though I spend most of my time trying not to let it blow away. This beauty was a Primark bargain along with the cute patent shoes which I added black fishnet socks to give a more edgy look. Last of all the scarf, it was more of a last minute add on when I realised how cold it was but I can't get enough of anything fluffy so I think it finished the outfit off nicely. I'm already excited for LFW SS16...bring on the summer.
